On August 9th, the "Police Micro-Short Drama Thousand Series Plan" was officially launched with the aim of advancing public security film and television propaganda, presenting a positive image of the police force, and telling compelling stories about law enforcement officers. This initiative is the first time that the Public Security Ministry's News Media Center has employed short dramas and micro-short dramas to showcase authentic police figures and cases in a format that resonates with the public, with the dual goals of legal education and deterrence.
The micro-short drama titled "Rapid Response Unit" is the inaugural IP of this ambitious project. Over the next five years, the plan will roll out across the country, with an expected production volume of no less than 1,000 episodes.

Zhou Xuesheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chief Editor of the Public Security Ministry's News Media Center, emphasized, "The popularity of micro-short dramas is on the rise, and we must seize this opportunity. By combining the art form of micro-short dramas with real-life police figures and cases, we will distribute these productions on major online platforms. With the launch of the 'Thousand Series Plan,' we will comprehensively and multi-dimensionally portray the spirit of the police force. We will delve deep into real stories, carefully craft story details, and accurately depict characters, all with the goal of portraying police officers as beacons of light and deterring criminal activities, while enhancing the public's legal awareness."
