Having followed this series from its very first episode up to the latest one, it's evident that there are aspects that deserve praise. For instance, the acting is commendable, and the settings are down-to-earth and relatable. The casting choices align well with the characters' personas, making them memorable. The absence of clichéd romantic subplots keeps the narrative fresh, while each episode ends on a cliffhanger that leaves viewers eagerly anticipating what comes next. However, when it comes to the plot structure, there is room for improvement.

1. The series begins with the protagonist and his friend being demoted to a remote town, but we're left in the dark about the specifics of the protagonist's situation. His age, for example, is never mentioned, which makes it hard to contextualize his actions and experiences. A reference point like age would help us understand his journey better. Furthermore, the lack of any mention of his family or personal life gives the impression that the character lacks depth.

2. It's unclear why the character Zheng Shuai is so devoted to the protagonist. Is there no opposition from his family? This aspect could benefit from more detailed exploration, particularly regarding Zheng Shuai's motivations and the nature of his loyalty. Similarly, the reasons behind Luo Sha's infatuation with Zheng Shai remain unexplained, despite her having encountered attractive people before. These questions go unanswered even as Luo Sha exits the story, which feels like an oversight by the writers. The identity of Zheng Shuai's father is another mystery that remains unsolved, which can be frustrating for the audience.

3. The organizational structure of Lianzhong Bank is not clearly defined at the outset. It takes several episodes for viewers to piece together whether it's a public or private institution, and what its hierarchy looks like. The various levels of management, including the main branch, regional branches, and central branches, are gradually revealed through dialogue. This lack of clarity in the early episodes can make the viewing experience confusing and disjointed.

4. The financial journalist character seems unnecessary and somewhat artificial. She appears only when needed, and then disappears without a trace. Her role in the story feels forced, serving primarily as a plot device rather than a fully realized character.

5. The narrative could benefit from clearer delineation between the different storylines and key moments. These include the ensemble cast at Longyuan Branch, the protagonist's professional growth, workplace rivalries, and the quest for truth. The intertwining of these elements without clear boundaries can make it difficult for viewers to follow. A more structured approach, similar to the episodic format seen in classic dramas like Journey to the West or the chapter-based narratives of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Dream of the Red Chamber, would enhance the storytelling and maintain audience engagement.

6. The emphasis on the mentorship between the protagonist and his disciple Qian Cai is repeated too often through dialogue rather than demonstrated through action. While it's important to highlight their relationship, overusing verbal reinforcement can become monotonous and detract from the impact of their interactions.
